Objectives:  The presentation focuses on a discussion of key leadership skillsets for law enforcement and fraud professionals.

Bio:  

Dr. David D. Friedlein is a native of the Rio Grande Valley and a public service professional with over 21 years of diverse law enforcement experience. Since 2004, Dr. Friedlein has served in various roles, including patrol, community outreach, criminal investigations, public corruption investigations, internal affairs investigations, administration/financial services, and continuing education. Dr. Friedlein holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in Criminal Justice and an Educational Doctorate in Leadership & Professional Practice. Dr. Friedlein is also a 2019 graduate of the 277th Session of the FBI National Academy, a member of the FBI National Academy Association, and a member of the FBINAA-Texas Chapter. Since 2020, Dr. Friedlein has developed and taught criminal justice courses as an adjunct professor at Trevecca Nazarene University and South Texas College. Dr. Friedlein continues to serve the public as a Reserve Captain with the Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office and as the Assistant City Manager with the City of Pharr.

Registration fee is per person attending the meeting.  It includes 1 CPE credit and lunch. 

Cancellation Policy and No Shows:  Cancellations will not be eligible for a refund; however, substitutions will be accepted. In the event an attendee does not attend the event, the registration fee will be forfeited.

The Chapter reserves the right to bar for future registration any attendees who routinely register and fail to pay and/or attend the event.
